This website is a growing guide with information added as received or based on the suggestions/comments/specific questions we receive. Here is some quick starting guide as well as links to certain important institutions that you might need until you get familiarized, such as obtaining Social Insurance Number (SIN) and Health Care Card, transportation, children’s school and university education, job search and other matters of interest. There are other resources and applications as well.

          This website is intended to act as only a guide and might be more suited for newcomers coming as Permanent Residency, but might have some information for all (Work, Study or Visitor Visa holders). We request all newcomers to contact the agencies, organizations or individuals directly for assistance or more information.

          The information provided here is in no way comprehensive list of things to go through or watch for once you are in Canada and please note, COVID19 has changed some procedures with agencies and offices. So, make sure you check with them directly before proceeding.
